I'm in the process of constructing the perfect primer for those unfortunate enough to join us in this wretched place. Allowing the ignorant to remain such does me no good, nor any of the rest of you. While my memory is as clear and flawless as one might expect from someone of my intelligence, I have not been here forever and thus am sadly unable to make the primer fully comprehensive on my own.

So! I need information about things that happened in this place prior to nine months ago. Any lesser-known but important information about the Westport incident is also welcome; I know most of it but I was droned for the duration, so details may have slipped through the cracks.

I'm afraid I cannot remember this "Westport" incident, but I can detail some of the strange things that happened before then. What have you heard so far?

Not much. I was trapped on this side after the road went poof. I was able to go over for a little bit though.

It looked like a war zone, abandoned, destroyed, and it smelled awful and empty.

Indeed I am! My specialty is engineering and robotics, but someone of my caliber naturally can't be constrained to one specific field. I simply thought I would show the new prisoners in this place some of my grace and generosity by bringing you all up to speed, as it were.

I'm not from whatever world you are, so any specific advancements you might think of won't be familiar to me. I do have a very large battle mech; he's around fifteen feet tall, and he's completely unique on Auldrant. The town was kind enough to return him to me soon after I arrived.
